Sacred Live Readers — Legal & Safety Framework
This page describes the intended rules for Star of Danu LLC’s live-reader marketplace. Final Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Reader Agreement, refund standards and dispute provisions should be reviewed by qualified counsel before public launch.
1. Eligibility and account responsibility
Live readings are intended for adults age 18 and older. Clients are responsible for safeguarding their account, payment access and communications. One Star of Danu account may be used across the site, while live-reading records remain separated from My Book unless a client deliberately chooses otherwise in a future feature.
2. Platform marketplace; independent readers
Star of Danu provides the platform, scheduling, payment tools, safety standards and marketplace rules. Readers provide their own spiritual or intuitive services as independent providers and are not employees merely because they appear on the platform. Final contractor classification, tax language and jurisdiction-specific terms require attorney review.
3. Fixed sessions and transparent pricing
Readers may set approved rates for fixed-length sessions. Clients should see the session method, length, price, applicable complimentary credit and material cancellation/refund terms before confirming. The service is not designed around a hidden or open-ended ticking meter.
4. Payments, refunds, chargebacks and credits
Payments are processed through the platform. Star of Danu controls platform refunds, courtesy credits and chargeback handling under published standards; readers do not privately refund clients outside the system. Complimentary minutes or credits have no cash value unless law requires otherwise. Final payout timing, commission, reserves, refund allocation and chargeback responsibility belong in the Reader Agreement and payment terms.
5. No off-platform solicitation
Readers may not pressure clients to move payment or ongoing paid services off Star of Danu, request unnecessary personal contact information, or use a session to solicit gifts, transfers, secret fees or separate paid “protection” services. Platform messaging should be used where available to protect both client and reader.
6. Spiritual guidance, not professional care
Readings are for personal reflection, spiritual exploration and conversation. Readers may not diagnose medical or mental-health conditions, prescribe treatment, direct someone to disregard professional care, provide legal advice, or present themselves as a substitute for a qualified financial professional. Sacred Live Readers is not an emergency or crisis service.
7. Zero tolerance for fear and exploitation
Prohibited conduct includes curse or hex fear tactics, paid “curse removal,” threats of supernatural harm, false claims that a client is unsafe without continued sessions, guaranteed supernatural outcomes, coercive upselling, fraud, impersonation, harassment, threats, discrimination, illegal content and deliberate dependency-building.
8. Safety escalation
Readers must follow the platform’s safety process when they reasonably believe there is an imminent threat of serious harm. Production procedures must define what information is preserved, who may access it, what emergency resources are shown, and what legal obligations apply in relevant jurisdictions.
9. Privacy, transcripts and recordings
Live-reading history is a separate experience from My Book. Text transcripts should be retained only according to disclosed settings and retention rules. Video recordings are not retained. Video-call transcripts may be created only with clear, affirmative consent from the required participants for that call, with appropriate notices, secure storage, access controls, retention choices and legal review. Phone calls are not recorded or transcribed by default.
10. Reviews and marketplace integrity
Star of Danu may publish verified client ratings and reviews, moderate content that violates review standards, investigate manipulation, and remove fraudulent or abusive submissions. Readers may not buy, trade, threaten for or otherwise manipulate reviews.
11. Reader profiles and promotional content
Readers remain responsible for the accuracy and rights to material they submit. The Reader Agreement should grant Star of Danu a limited license to display approved names, biographies, portraits, videos and profile content for operating and marketing the marketplace while the relationship is active and for reasonable archival/legal purposes afterward.
12. Suspension, removal and payout holds
Star of Danu may pause availability, suspend accounts, remove reader profiles, hold payouts where permitted, or investigate conduct when safety, fraud, chargeback, identity, policy or legal concerns arise. Production rules should define notice, review and appeal procedures where appropriate.
13. Taxes and reader obligations
Readers are responsible for their own tax, licensing and business obligations except where the platform is legally required to collect, report or withhold. Final tax language should reflect the actual payment architecture and applicable law.
14. Client conduct
Clients must also behave lawfully and respectfully. Harassment, threats, discriminatory abuse, fraud, impersonation, sexual exploitation, payment abuse, attempts to obtain a reader’s private information, or misuse of the platform can result in account restrictions or removal.
15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Final Terms should clearly explain the nature of spiritual services, that outcomes are not guaranteed, the client’s responsibility for decisions, and legally appropriate limitations of liability. These provisions must be drafted for Star of Danu rather than copied from another marketplace.
16. Electronic acceptance and version records
Material policies and agreements should be versioned and timestamped. Reader acceptance should record the legal name, agreement version, date/time and required acknowledgments. Client acceptance should be captured where legally necessary.
17. Disputes and governing terms
Choice of law, venue, arbitration, class-action waiver, informal dispute procedures and any opt-out rights are attorney decisions. They should not be inherited automatically from another platform’s agreement.
Production document set
Before launch, maintain separate, consistent documents for: Client Terms of Use; Privacy Policy; Reader Agreement; Live Reading Standards & Safety; Refund/Cancellation Policy; Community/Review Conduct; and any required recording/transcription consent notice.
